We respect your privacy and process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Information we collect
When you request early access, we collect your email address and any information you voluntarily provide during subsequent communication.
We may also process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details and website usage data, to operate, secure and improve the website.
How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your requests, discuss Sciilo and notify you when the product becomes available.
The legal basis for processing early-access requests is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Website security and proportionate analytics also rely on legitimate interests, subject to applicable privacy and electronic communications requirements.
We do not sell your personal data. Submitting an early-access request does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing communications.
Service providers
We use:
- HubSpot to manage early-access requests and contacts. Our account's data hosting location is the European Union (Germany).
- Umami for privacy-focused website analytics without analytics cookies.
- Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms against spam and automated abuse.
Our website infrastructure and email providers may also process technical or communication data where necessary.
Some providers or their subprocessors may process or access personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, such transfers must be covered by appropriate safeguards under GDPR, such as an applicable adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Data retention
Early-access requests are retained for up to 24 months from submission, unless you request earlier deletion or continued retention is justified by another lawful basis.
Other technical and analytics data are retained according to the applicable operational requirements and provider settings.
Cookies and similar technologies
Umami does not use analytics cookies. Essential cookies or similar browser technologies may be used for website functionality and security, including Cloudflare Turnstile.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, and, where applicable, data portability. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
Contact [email protected] to exercise your rights. We normally respond within one month.
You may lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (aki.ee) or another competent supervisory authority.
